As a Service Manager (Energy), you will take the lead on managing the full lifecycle of offshore service contracts, from sales handover to final delivery, ensuring seamless execution in line with client expectations, contractual commitments, and internal targets. You will also oversee a team including a Project Coordinator and Service Support Engineers, ensuring alignment across disciplines and between JDR’s product and service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of offshore energy service projects, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and high-quality delivery.
- Carry out risk assessments and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
- Manage customer communications and contract changes through our VOR system.
- Support bid teams with feedback to strengthen future proposals and tenders.
- Identify new service opportunities, support revenue growth, and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions from product delivery to service execution.
- Oversee project invoicing, documentation, and milestone tracking in line with customer contracts.
What You’ll Bring
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
As an experienced Service Manager, you will have suitable technical training and education, whether through an apprenticeship, college, or university. In addition, you will have proven experience in offshore operations, ideally within the Oil & Gas sector. You’ll demonstrate strong project management capabilities, with a successful track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Highly organised and adept at managing multiple priorities, you’ll also possess a commercially astute, results-driven mindset. Your proactive, solutions-oriented approach and excellent communication skills will be key to building strong relationships and ensuring successful project outcomes.
