We’re currently looking for a Junior Welder to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, entry-level opportunity ideal for someone with a recognised welding apprenticeship and a passion for learning Orbital and TIG welding in a high-quality engineering environment.
As a Junior Orbital & TIG Welder, you’ll support the manufacture of subsea umbilicals and cable assemblies, working alongside experienced professionals and receiving practical training in:
- Orbital welding equipment operation
- Manual TIG welding techniques
- Small-bore tube bending and joint preparation
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and welding specs (WPS)

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist with production welding tasks to meet deadlines
- Develop technical skills through supervised, on-the-job training
- Support weld preparation: cutting, cleaning, and alignment
- Maintain traceability records and follow strict quality procedures
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
- Participate in toolbox talks and training sessions
What You’ll Need
Essential:
- Recognised Welding Apprenticeship (or similar foundation training)
- Basic understanding of welding principles and safety practices
- A positive, proactive approach and willingness to develop new skills
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively

Desirable:
- HNC / ONC / City & Guilds qualifications
