Construction Project Manager (Tomball - Texas)
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex construction projects. The role ensures adherence to scope, budget, regulatory standards, and safety compliance. The incumbent will supervise permitting, risk management, workforce and vendor coordination, and process optimization while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Owner’s Representative and Project Monitor.
- Supervise and collaborate with Owner’s Rep, Project Monitor, and external advisors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define project scope, schedule, and budget in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage procurement and coordination of manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Lead project cost control and reporting to ensure financial accountability.
- Monitor construction progress, risks, and key milestones; provide updates to leadership.
- Oversee contract execution in collaboration with the Legal and Contracts team.
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through proactive communication.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring alignment with safety and compliance standards.
- Ensure all permits, building codes, and legal requirements are obtained and followed.
- Facilitate process improvements and post-project reviews.
- Address unforeseen events and project delays with agility and problem-solving.
To be successful in the role, the post holder must have:
- Deep understanding of construction contracts, codes, safety standards, and project lifecycle.
- Effective leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and construction/project management software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
- Ability to work flexibly in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
